Overview of Motobu Story Quest
Motobu Story Quest reservations will begin on February 1, 2024, with service provision starting on February 12. This service is a demonstration project for sustainable tourism aimed at inbound travelers, utilizing EV taxis, and is set in Motobu Town, Okinawa Prefecture.
Motobu Story Quest is a mobility service designed to explore the nature, history, and culture of Motobu Town, Okinawa. It aims to rediscover the attractions of Motobu Town through environmentally friendly private EV taxis. The service offers three types of model courses themed around the sea, culture, and seasons. Participants can also customize their own journey according to their curiosity.
Enjoying Motobu Town More Deeply with an NFT Digital Stamp Rally
At each tourist spot, you can earn a digital stamp using NFTs. The digital stamp can be received on your smartphone by scanning the QR code printed on the back of a card. The digital stamp includes detailed explanations of each tourist spot, allowing you to deeply experience the culture and history of Motobu Town.
There are seven types of NFTs. Cards will be distributed by taxi drivers at the following seven locations:
- Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium
- Ocean Expo Park
- Bise Fukugi Tree Road
- Yae Mountain
- Sesoko Beach
- Motobu Yurika Market
- Motobu Town Municipal Market
Service Fees & Details
The service fee is 50,000 yen (tax included). Extra charges, parking fees, and expressway tolls will be paid locally. The service includes the following:
- Private EV taxi for 8 hours
- Free Wi-Fi in the car
- NFT acquisition service
- An introduction app of Motobu Town on a tablet in the car
